A sketch design proposal that features stairs that provide easy access to the balcony, towards the proposed gathering area that raplaces the existing parking space on the high point of the area.
The brick facade reflects the style of the existing building structures in the surrounding area, as well as the steel railings that represent the industrial theme of Jasper Ave.

The stairs lead towards two levels of balconies and a gathering area. On the right hand side is a ramp for differently abled people to easily access the gathering area as well as the trail that leads towards the tram station.
The upper level is covered with plant materials in raised planters, and features the main gathering area. It also provides a panoramic view of the residential area as well as existing amenities present in Jasper Ave.

This area will serve as the “Central Hub” for people coming in from the Tram Station, the residential area on the other side, as well as people living in downtown Edmonton.
